mySecretary ("the App") is a personal organizer app for tracking bills and payments, reminders, and savings goals. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information and how your privacy is protected.
By using mySecretary you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
mySecretary does not collect any personal information. The App works entirely offline and requires no account, no sign-in, and no internet connection.
The only data the App stores is what you enter yourself — payment records, reminders, and savings goals — and this data is kept exclusively on your device.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, health data, or any other personal information.
3. How Your Data Is Stored
All data you enter into mySecretary is stored in a local database (SQLite) on your device. This data never leaves your device and is never uploaded to any server.
We do not operate any backend servers, cloud infrastructure, or account systems. You are in complete control of your data at all times.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used only to display your bills, reminders, and goals within the App. Local notifications are scheduled on-device to remind you of upcoming payments and tasks — no data is transmitted to deliver these notifications.
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the core features of the App.
5. Biometric Authentication
mySecretary offers optional Face ID / Touch ID protection to lock access to the App. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system (iOS) and is never accessed, read, or stored by the App itself.
6. Third-Party Services
mySecretary does not use any analytics services, advertising networks, or data brokers.
The App is built with Expo (React Native). Local push notifications are scheduled on-device using the iOS notification system. No notification tokens or identifiers are transmitted to any external server.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third parties under any circumstances. No data ever leaves your device.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
All data is stored only on your device. You can delete individual records at any time within the App. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all data associated with it. mySecretary holds no copies of your data anywhere else.
9. Children's Privacy
mySecretary is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — children or adults. No registration is required and no personal data is collected by the App.
10. Security
Because all your data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's own security — including your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. The App also provides an additional optional biometric lock for extra protection.
The App makes no outbound network connections, so there is no data in transit to protect.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
